Today’s school lunch ideas are brought to you by the letter B.
(I didn’t do this on purpose… Honestly. I’m not that coordinated).
This past weekend was our first real ‘fall’ weekend. There was a bit of a chill in the air. We went apple picking as a family. So I finally felt like doing some baking. I made up a batch of Black Bean Brownies, Banana Bread, Apple Cheddar Biscuits and granola. I was quite ambitious.
So I took a bunch of the baked goods and put it into my kids’ lunch. Nice and easy. Very little work required this morning.
Here’s what they’re having today:
- Orange pepper slices
- Apple slices
- Raisins
- Black Bean Brownies – so yummy & nutritious
- Honey Banana Bread – recipe coming soon!
- Plain yogurt with blackberries
- Shredded white cheddar cheese – for some reason, my kids won’t always eat pieces or chunks of cheese. But they will ALWAYS eat it shredded. I don’t ask. I just shred.
That’s it. What are you guys having today?
